Learning problems

Els problemes d´aprenentatge dificulten el rendiment escolar

In an increasingly competitive world, it is necessary to develop learning abilities, where reading is crucial.

Learning problems are a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes involved in the understanding or use of spoken or written language, which can be manifested in an imperfect ability to listen, speak, read, write, spell or do mathematical calculations.

Vision problems related to learning are subdivided into problems of visual efficiency (visual acuity, refractive defects, accommodation, vergencies and motility) and visual information processing (implies non-motor aspects of perception and visual cognition and its integration with the motor, auditorium, language and attention systems).

If the problem is of visual efficiency, the therapy of the accommodation, vergencies and motility must be done. In visual processing problems, laterality-directionality therapy, visuo-motor integration, fine motor coordination and viso-auditory integration are performed.
